SNOFEST
March 8 & 9, 2024
Winter is back in Old Forge!

Snowmobile jumpers

And where there’s winter, there are snowmobiles. The Central Adirondack Association is proud to host SNOFEST 2024 on March 8th & 9th at the George T. Hiltebrant Recreation Center on North Street in Old Forge.  The event will be abuzz with the sound of sleds from three major manufacturers: Arctic Cat, Polaris and Ski-Doo.  Snowmobilers can be the first to preview next year’s snowmobiles and accessories at Snofest.  Demo rides will be provided by Arctic Cat on Friday and Saturday, weather permitting.  This is a great opportunity to ride before you buy and it is only happening in Old Forge!

SNOFEST’s hours of operation are 9am – 5pm both Friday and Saturday.  During these hours, the North Street pavilion will be filled with snowmobiles, sled accessories, vendors, raffles, and delicious food and beverages from the Old Forge Fire Department.  Be sure to get a ticket for the Blizzard 12ft NorEaster trailer donated by North South Connection.  This trailer is valued at $7,200 and tickets, only $20 each, are available during SNOFEST at the pavilion, at the Old Forge Information Center and online at VisitMyAdirondacks.com.  The raffle drawing will take place Saturday, March 8th.

If you think that’s all SNOFEST has to offer, hold on to your helmets because RAVEX is BACK!
The CAA is extremely excited to announce the return of this phenomenal freestyle snowmobile show!  RAVEX riders are Chris Coosemans and Daniel Shaffer, both from Canada. Chris is from Ontario and Daniel is from way out in Manitoba.  The sport of freestyle snowmobiling is much different than the last time they were here at SNOFEST in 2011.   Only a very few riders in the world actually still ride freestyle and perform at shows.  We are lucky to have these two amazing riders performing in Old Forge.  The great thing about the new show is that the riders now land on a portable inflatable air bag, so they no longer rely on snow.  The show will happen regardless of bad weather!  The crowd will see some awesome tricks including the superman, superman seat grabs, super cans and the death defying backflip!  These riders will be 30 feet in the air, jumping a 70 foot distance on a ramp called a super kicker.  This is actually the same type ramp they used the last time they were at SNOFEST! This  show you won’t want to miss takes place Saturday at 3pm.  The return of RAVEX to Snofest could not be possible without sponsorships from FPI Mechanical, NITRO Trailers, The Blue Spruce Motel, Blizzard Trailers, Wagging It In The ADK, Community Bank NA and Christy’s Motel.
