Inlet is a gateway to the Moose River Recreation Area which offers a multitude of recreational possibilities.  50,000 acres that varies from flatness of the herb and grass plains of the Moose and Red Rivers to the gentle and often steep pitches of the adjoining forested ridges and mountains.  With over 100 primitive tent sites, miles of trails and access to many waterways the MRRA is a great place to escape.

Inlet has two town parks.  Fern Park offers a baseball field, outdoor basketball court and play set, a pavilion with basketball nets that becomes an ice skating rink in the winter with a warming room, public restrooms and the trail head to miles of mountain biking, hiking, cross-country skiing & snowshoeing trails.  Arrowhead Park offers a dog walking area, picnic area, playground, baseball field, tennis courts, boardwalk, and beach.
 
A variety of restaurants in Inlet allow you to choose from a mom & pop diner, fine dining, family-style, the old inn on the lake experience, or simply great take-out.  And many shops offering unique gifts and other items will give you plenty to choose from, whether it is a necessity you need, or a souvenir you want to take home.
