Cooler temperatures, stunning fall foliage, the absence of annoying bugs, and about 27 miles of top-grade, machine-built and hand-built trails will combine to make the Adirondack Mountain Bike Festival on October 1 & 2, a spectacular autumn event and one that should be at the top of people’s list of seasonal activities to check out It’s an opportunity for experienced riders, novices, and those curious about the sport, to meet and test out the area’s new and improved trails, chat with vendors and exhibitors on hand, ride along on a guided trail tour, and enjoy a couple of days of fun, food, and music immersed in nature and surrounded by the great outdoors.

The parking lot at the base of McCauley Mountain Ski Area will serve as the main staging area for all events and activities, as well as the trailhead for exploring the vast network of climbing and flow trails that extend to Maple Ridge above and Old Forge below. The event is free to attend event and ride the trails.
