DURANT DAYS - JULY 31-AUG 2

JUL 31-AUG 2, 2009

Information

Beginning on Friday- the first weekend in August.  Durant Days captures a by gone era and gives a special sense of time and place in history. Visitors can visualize themselves walking in the footsteps of these historic travelers. You'll encounter the wide-open grandeur of Raquette Lake as W.W. Durant did when he envisioned the first Great Camp. Stroll through the rooms and grounds of Pine Knot and Sagamore, hearing the cry of a loon on the lake. Bathe yourself in the peace and serenity you feel within the walls of St. William's or St. Hubert's.

Encounter a private railroad car and savor the luxury and craftsmanship few could afford. There are tours, cruises and events scheduled for the three days
